i remember the day i learned to ride my bike without training wheels like it was yesterday. i was 4 years old and we lived in a cul-de-sac. it was cool out because i was wearing these awful overalls with a cow on the front. i hated those things and i remember crying about having to wear them. anyhow, my dad was home from work and it was before dinner time. i can remember the way that it felt to be able to balance and steer and go fast all on my own. it was like a right of passage or something. because from then on, i could go ANYWHERE on my little purple bike. well, anywhere in my neighborhood. but when you are small those things seem so very big.
saturday afternoon grey just decided it was time. time to hop up on that 2 wheel bike and just ride away. i think we may have helped him about 3 times total until he was doing it all on his own. and every spare second he has, he's riding that bike by himself. we were so proud and excited for him!
