{grey caught this image of me doing a front flip on the trampoline. he always tries so hard and asks me to do it over and over again so he can get a good picture. i get dizzy but he finally got a halfway clear shot!}
we only have a few more weeks of summer around here which has kicked me into high gear clean up and clean out mode. beginning to homeschool has me all in a tizzy just with the unknowns and all. i figure if i can get this place as organized as possible it will make it a little easier on everyone.
in an effort to clean out, i was deleting a massive amount of pictures i have stored on my phone. which left me having a conversation with myself about how many stinkin' pictures i feel the need to take. at least the boys will have grainy pictures to go with their memories one day. at least that's what i'm telling myself.
so here's my summer dump.
1. the tuck bomb mastering all sorts of things as he grows into a young man. he flips and draws a lot.
2. summer chores. here's the help i've enlisted on really cleaning this place up ship shape. it's the little things like cleaning baseboards that really get them going.
3. summer fruit. just a sampling here. we have consumed more than our fair share.
4. a trip to the dentist. just added one more make-believe game to play :)
5. me and those boys. some really good time together this summer.
6. that top bunk. it's where they always want to be.
7. silly sweet boy.
8. swimming, swimming. grey is swimming underwater without any flotation these days. we are very proud of him.
9. olympic watching!
9. gigi's bedtime stories :)
10. sunsets and really cute little boys.
11. there's always a make-believe story to play out and lots of book reading. thankfully grey can read to tuck and will now!
12. and last but certainly not least, our 7th anniversary. the boys enjoyed looking at our wedding album yesterday as did i. i'm not going to lie. i think our wedding was pretty fun. at least it was for me. i was marrying MATT CAVIN.
couldn't have dreamed up the life we have now 7 years ago. it's funny to think about really all that's happened in 7 years. this last picture is how we spent our evening together.
how good is God!
will is such a little blondie!
ReplyDeletei've never seen that wedding photo before…so lovely :)
