a train ride

Grey and Brooke were super excited about our train ride to see Santa.

The train ride was short but sweet. The kiddos loved just hanging out together. 

We got off at the roundhouse to have cookies, hot chocolate, and see Santa! Grey was in the line for his cookies and milk when he saw a Santa hat. He immediately told the LADY PASSING OUT THE COOKIES that he wanted a flashlight for Christmas! Oops, wrong Santa! 


Brooke and Grey both wanted to go see the "real" Santa so we waited in line. I was certain Grey was going to scream for dear life if Santa even tried to come near him as he did last year but instead, this happened...

Again, Grey made it clear that ALL he wants for Christmas this year is a REAL flashlight. Santa insisted he ask for a car or train but Grey said "nope, just a flashwight." Easy enough for Santa! It would make him this happy to get one.

We enjoyed some good time with great friends and even got to eat at Cookout afterwards!
