Advent: an arrival that has been awaited.
We began the celebration of Advent in our home yesterday. We have been so excited about this new tradition and the way it will evolve as our children grow. This celebration will consist of lots of fun things during the Christmas season but doing all things with intention to set our hearts on Christ.
The boys cuddled up on the couch with their daddy as he read about the star in the sky that led the shepherds to their long awaited Savior. Grey then got to place the star on top of the tree to remember that precious night that Jesus was born.
We then got to decorate the tree together which didn't end up quite as I had planned. Grey broke at least 3 ornaments and Tucker was screaming to go to bed by 6:45.
At least we got the good part out of the way and Matthew and I had some quality decorating time after the boys went to bed.
