celebrating christmas! 

christmas day we took a walk and the boys ran wild in a field. it was the best part they said. 

the day after christmas they wrestled the day away with their cousins and by the end they were all exhausted in the best way. 

dress up clothes are a constant so new ones were very welcome. they play, sleep, and eat in them. 

we rang in the new year with our dear friends!

capturing their faces is the best. they are so grateful for each and every gift. the winners this year were guns, of course for tuck and will and legos for grey. pure joy on christmas morning! 

the weekly . fifty one

we finished up school before christmas break and went straight into baking days. 

made my mom's infamous gingerbreads this year and packaged them up to give to friends. they were fun to make and decorate together! 

then the stomach bug hit the house conveniently right before christmas. which means we stayed home and had some really awesome days as a family. it was so good to slow down honestly. and the bug itself was short lived so we were able to fill our days with games and legos, guns and skateboarding. we went to a movie and out to dinner. 

and we found little will asleep adorned with christmas lights in all the holiday cheer! 

oh, i also did my first load of little girl laundry!!! can't forget that :)
