all i really wanted on christmas day was to adventure out to the pond behind my parent's house and photograph these little hooligans. it didn't come without resistance.
but thankfully they have a super fun father that can always make light of any situation. not to mention his incredible skill in acting the fool to get these guys to crack a laugh.
usually i am so against forcing a photo but sometimes the moment seems too fleeting. these boys are growing too fast for me and it was christmas day for heavens sake. i mean, they won't be wearing sweater vests and embroidered corduroy for much longer.
so they finally obliged and settle on "it's what mommy wants for christmas."
and what do you know they actually enjoyed themselves. we all ended up winning.
posed or not, these are fantastic. i love the detail in the coordination of their shirts (and, of course, those sweet faces). and i am glad you got your christmas wish! you'll cherish it forever.
