Lucy Goose is a wild one. with the flare up of some pretty major reflux, we are battling no day time sleep due to pain. poor baby girl. we are figuring it all out. i should say we are trying to figure it all out. with lack of daytime sleep, she sure makes up for it at nighttime sleeping anywhere from 9 to 11 hours!!!! i will take it for sure. at 7 weeks she slept from 9:30 pm to 8:30 am!!! wowzers. and hasn't gone back. she now does a good stretch from about 8 pm to 5 am and then back to sleep until 8:30 or 9 am! 

she is a very social little butterfly and when she is not in pain she is very happy. she's cooing and talking all the time and this is our favorite time with her. 

the boys just adore her. not sure they even notice all the crying as of late. i have tried to stop worrying that they will resent it all and heard their prayers for her healing. i know they love her so and want her to feel well just as much as matthew and i. 

she weighed in at 10 lbs. 4.5 oz and was 23 inches at her check up. She is very small but on her growth curve. 

she spends lots of time in the moby wrap! thank goodness for that life saver. it keeps her upright and close and those are the two things she needs most. sweet girl is just a precious little lump.

peach trees

finally caught the peach trees in bloom one sunday after church! and oh how beautiful they are.

now these moments were far from blissful. grey was terrified of the bees flying all through the trees and cried for about 15 minutes and the other two boys were running around like crazy people. lucy was crying because she was exhausted. 

but the trees sure were pretty! and we happened on a couple of good photos so it was a win.

william is FOUR

i sure can't believe this boy is four years old. my baby boy. 

that grin is still the most charming. and his annunciation of everything he says is absolutely the cutest. his little mind is working full speed all the time. 

tucker is his closest companion and they have so many adventures together. he follows him with confidence and they are the best of explorers.

but i so often find him in a world of his own. pretending. he is ALWAYS pretending. he is constantly in a world of his own, dressed from head to toe in his role, and playing it full force. he loves to build legos and read books. he plays with bugs and worms and adventures in the woods. he's not afraid of most things and is a pretty tough cookie. 

he is the silliest of all sillies. he holds his own with his brothers and is learning to be more respectful of others every day. he loves to talk about underwear and poop. and he laughs so hard at grey's jokes and antics. he trusts him so very much and knows he is always for him. 

he wants to read so badly. but most of the time he just wants to play. play, play, and play some more. he begs for us to just let him play. so we do. a lot. 

he loves weapons and the dollar store. separately and together. because the dollar store is the mecca of finding weapons. 

he's learning to FINALLY pump his legs on the swing.

he sits and holds a conversation with the best of them. he is persistent and inquisitive. 

such a special one this william. and i'm glad he's ours! 

dress up

lucy girl saw her first day of a little dress up play with mommy. i just about died when i put those little leggings on with the bunny shirt. we are a tad obsessed with bunnies around here. so the shirt was perfect and she looked like such a doll. i had to snap a few shots.
