the weekly | twenty four {baby telling}

we pulled the ol' "lets take a picture in the backyard for fathers day and instead of saying cheese you say 'mommy's going to have a baby!'" charade. 

it worked. they were surprised and i loved seeing their reaction. of course grey got it first and beamed from ear to ear. tuck had the traditional, "you have got to be kidding me!" reaction. and will was befuddled. he's still understanding it all.

it was such a sweet time and the sweetest has come afterward, listening to them process and watching it sink in as much as it can at this point. we are officially referring to the baby as blueberry for the time being. and they have more questions everyday. we are honored to be welcoming another child into our hearts and our home!
