the weekly | forty five

starbucks date with tuck man.

will is always interested in baby girl and is always always up to being silly.

can't walk around the neighborhood without a boy up a tree.

rainy, cold saturday with poppie, marmite, and gram!

gram gave the boys each some dollar bills to go to the dollar store. these were their findings. what is it about that store? it's a personal favorite of will for all their weapons.

making a little progress on the nursery and a crazed william.

{28 weeks}

{i feel like the biggest dork but here she is at 27 weeks 6 days!}

How far along?: 28 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: honestly i have no idea. could be good or could be bad i guess.

Maternity clothes? bottoms for sure but i can still fit into most shirts and sweaters. I'm hoping to make it through without buying a thing :)

Stretch marks? whew...no

Sleep: needing more and more as time goes on.

Best moment this week: feeling those little body parts move about. and having the boys feel her move. hearing them talk of her and how they already love her so.

Movement: i can feel body parts now. she's an active one!

Cravings: still craving apple cider. and popcorn! just plain ol' on the stove popcorn.

Labor Signs: nada

Belly Button in or out? halfsies

What I am looking forward to: knowing her. i watch the boys and they are so individual. and i love them so much. and i enjoy them so much. and to know God is knitting another one of these blessings together right here, just sends me into awe and anticipation of knowing her.

What I miss: feeling full of energy. it will come again i know.

Random facts: the boys have names picked out for her. i think we are getting them used to the name that we have *almost* chosen. will's choice is pink rose, which he INSISTS on calling her at all times. tuck's choice is buttercup and grey's is lola-belle. i have no idea where they got these but i think I've convinced them to get her dolls that are named those names :)

Milestones: matthew and his dad painted the nursery this weekend! now i can start hanging the curtains my mom made and putting some things together.

a beautiful tuesday hike at the greenway with a beautiful friend. and a stop for my favorite treat. the peach stand has the only good cider around.

octopus week for school!

i love walking by their room at night and catching these moments.

feeling baby girl move all around and waiting in anticipation to meet her!

their imaginations always in motion.

halloween on the block.

a big ol' mound of pumpkin waffles for a rainy, cold saturday with papa and gigi.

school's out for a day and my heart swells when they choose this.

and since school is out my oldest asked to take a picture of my growing belly, his baby sister!

photojournal : mt. mitchell

i wanted to drive north so north we drove. around all the curves and bends and through all the reds and yellows and oranges. we climbed as high as we could go and we spent the day there. picnicking, exploring, marveling. it was so good.

the boys climbed and explored in a different way and all was right. except for the hike we took (during will's nap time) where he commented over and over "i just want to go home. why did we even come here? i just want to go home!" matthew and i laughed at him the whole time.

the trees were beautiful, the company was even better. it's so good to get away and stand in awe of the Creator.

the weekly | forty three

mom and i drug these two to mary jo's to pick out fabric for the crib. they made their own games and were fairly patient with my indecisiveness. but when i knew, i knew and i FINALLY picked something i love.

we went to mt. mitchell on friday and had a blast together.

matthew ran the spartan beast race on saturday. he has been training with his good friend and ran it with two other guys in the neighborhood. it was 13+ miles with 25 obstacles and he FINISHED! he has worked hard and accomplished his goal and is on to the next challenge!

we had trunks and treats (and no i didn't pose will, he does that himself) and then carved our pumpkin together monday evening.

we are really enjoying fall and all it brings.
